Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. She was most recently seen as Carlota (the primary role in the show) in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1, 1970) is an American actress, a singer and comic. She was best known for appearing on the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. Since then, she's appeared in ABC's Suburgatory as well as the TBS' People of Earth NBC's American Auto in addition to the feature film Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her career in Northwestern University. She initially trained in voice but later changed to theater studies when she became involved in campus' improv comedians. Her enthusiasm for improv has been evident throughout her various supporting roles including the overly controllable Sheila Shay (agent), on Lady Dynamite, as well as on Suburgatory's Sheila Shay. All of this has led to American Auto, an NBC comedy which will finally grant Ana Gasteyer her starring role. The role she most cherished was as a member of the NBC sketch-comedy series Saturday Night Live, from 1996 until 2002. In the intervening years, she starred in sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and film Mean Girls.
